Pearl care

Pearls are softer than gemstones. Three habits keep them bright.

How do I look after pearl earrings?

Put them on after perfume and hairspray, and wipe them with a soft, dry cloth when you take them off.

Can I wear them in the shower or the pool?

No. Water, chlorine and soap dull a pearl’s surface over time, so take them off first.

How should I store them?

Keep each pair in its own pouch, away from harder jewellery that can scratch the pearls.
